Chief Minister of Karnali Province Emphasizes Effective Budget Implementation
Chief Minister of Karnali Province, Yamlal Kandel, has urged government officials to prioritize the effective implementation of the budget for the current fiscal year. Speaking at a meeting with representatives of the Civil Servants’ Trade Union at the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers on Thursday, Kandel emphasized that the expectations of citizens can only be met through the proper execution of the policies, programs, and budget allocated for this fiscal period.
“The political leadership is responsible for policymaking, but the role of the bureaucracy is crucial in its implementation. Civil servants should work to ensure tangible results within the first quarter,” Chief Minister Kandel advised the officials.
He also stressed that government employees should focus on delivering services that meet the needs of the citizens rather than solely concentrating on their career advancement, transfers, and promotions. Kandel’s directive reflects a push for increased accountability and efficiency in the provincial administration to ensure that public resources are utilized effectively for the benefit of the people.
