Chinese Man dies while undergoing treatment after a fight in Kathmandu
A Chinese man died in Nepal while undergoing treatment after a fierce fight on the busy street of Indrachowk, Kathmandu.
A fight between three Chinese citizens took place in the busy market at around 11.30 am on Sunday. A fight broke out between them due to mutual disputes.
As the dispute escalated, 37-year-old Fong Changyun hit two of his friends with a sharp object.
Li Chuwan, 32, and Gan Saosing, 29, were taken to the National Trauma Center of Bir Hospital for immediate treatment.
Sausing died while undergoing treatment at the National Trauma Center of Bir Hospital. Chuwan has a deep injury in his stomach. He is being treated.
Fung Changyun, who threw a knife, has been nabbed by Kathmandu police.
The Chinese Nationals had an argument first over financial transactions in the middle of the street. As the argument turned into a fight, Fung Changyun used a sharp weapon (knife) to stab the other two. The three were friends who came to visit Nepal.
According to the police, the three had lived together in Zambia for two years.
Indrachowk is considered to be a very busy market in Kathmandu. It is also the historical market area of the capital, with dense settlements of the Newari community. Surrounded by various historical, religious, and archaeological heritages, thousands of people visit this market every day. That’s why it’s crowded all day long.
