Chinese National Arrested at TIA with $25,000

A 29-year-old Chinese national, Cui Bingcan, was apprehended at Tribhuvan International Airport while preparing for an international flight.
Authorities discovered $25,000 in US dollars inside his bag during the hand baggage inspection. Notably, $250 in denominations of one hundred was seized from him.
The detained Chinese citizen was en route to Guangzhou, China, departing from Kathmandu. Subsequently, he has been transferred to the Revenue Investigation Department at Pulchowk for additional investigation and necessary legal action.
