Chinese National Arrested in Connection with 100 kg Gold Seizure

A Chinese national identified has been arrested by the airport security police office in connection with the recent seizure of 100 kg of gold at Tribhuvan International Airport.

The arrest took place on Thursday afternoon as the Chinese national was attempting to flee to China via Tibet Air. The Revenue Investigation Department, acting on crucial information provided by the Immigration Department, promptly alerted the airport security police, leading to the swift apprehension.

Authorities made the shocking discovery of the 100 kg gold haul on the premises of the airport during a routine inspection on Wednesday morning.
