Chinese Tourist Found Dead at Thamel, Kathmandu
Tragedy struck in Thamel as a 47-year-old Chinese tourist, Wao Gwang, was discovered lifeless in his room at Nepalaya Home Hostel on Saturday evening. Superintendent of Police at District Police Office, Kumodh Dhungel, confirmed the unfortunate incident.
Gwang had been staying at Nepalaya Home Hostel in Thamel since January 24. Authorities were alerted to the situation, leading to the prompt arrival of a police team at the hostel.
Superintendent Dhungel reported that the deceased’s body has been transported to TU Teaching Hospital for postmortem examination. As of now, there is no conclusive evidence regarding the cause of Gwang’s death at the scene. An active investigation is underway to unravel the circumstances surrounding this tragic event, and authorities are diligently working to bring clarity to the situation.
