COVID-19: 17 New Cases Reported in 24 Hours

The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has reported that 17 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed on Friday, while 57 people have recovered from the disease. The new cases were detected through 257 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests that were conducted in the past 24 hours. The MoHP released its regular update on Friday, informing the public of the latest developments in the COVID-19 situation.
As of the time of reporting, there are 162 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation. This marks a significant decrease in the number of active cases, which is a positive development in the ongoing fight against the pandemic.
Sadly, the COVID-19 pandemic has claimed the lives of 12,031 people in Nepal so far.
