Deputy Prime Minister Prakash Man Singh Calls for Consensus on Constitution Amendment
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh, has emphasized the importance of amending the constitution through a consensus among all political forces.
Addressing a gathering of Nepali Congress cadres in Bardibas, Singh highlighted that the current government was established with a shared commitment to revising the constitution. He underscored the need for extensive dialogue with all parliamentary parties to ensure a unified approach to the amendment process.
Singh also expressed confidence in the coalition government, asserting that it would remain stable and continue functioning until the next House of Representatives election. A stable government, he noted, is essential for steering the country toward sustained development.
The Deputy Prime Minister encouraged party members to actively participate in strengthening the party’s organizational base, urging them to play a pivotal role in promoting the party’s vision and agenda at all levels.
