DPM Prakash Man Singh Prioritizes Infrastructure Development and Urban Planning
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh, has emphasized that infrastructure development is a top priority, with ongoing efforts to make cities more systematic and organized.
Speaking at a program held in Kathmandu constituency-1 today, DPM Singh highlighted the ministry’s focus on constructing safe and well-planned cities. He acknowledged that while the results of these efforts will take time to manifest, the impact will eventually be felt by the people. “I am making efforts to carry out activities for improvement. It will take time to see improvements. There is no doubt that people will feel the change,” he stated.
Additionally, DPM Singh mentioned the ministry’s initiatives to reduce pollution in the Bagmati and Bishnumati rivers, as well as other rivers within the Kathmandu Valley. He also pointed out ongoing efforts for better sewerage management as part of the broader strategy to improve urban infrastructure and environmental conditions in the valley.
