Earthquake of 3.6 Magnitude Jolts Kalikot

An earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale struck Kalikot district and its surrounding areas early this morning. The National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre reported that the quake’s epicenter was at Odanaku in Kalikot district.

Details regarding any damage or casualties caused by the tremor are yet to be received.

In recent days, several districts, including Bajhang, Bajura, Darchula, Jajarkot, and Manang, have experienced minor earthquakes, raising concerns among residents about seismic activity in the region.
