Education should ensure employability: CM Sharma
Chief Minister of Karnali Province, Raj Kumar Sharma, has pointed out the need of education that ensures employability, thereby bringing meaningful change in human life.
Addressing the 13th anniversary of Kopila Valley School at Birendranagar on Friday, Chief Minister Sharma underlined the relevance of education, its positive impact on human life and connection to evolving information and technology.
“Our educational institutions should be therefore produce capable human resources that can contribute well to country’s development”, he reminded.
He expressed happiness that the Kopila Valley School had been imparting education connecting it to labour, skill, technology and culture. Shared roles of all bodies concerned are indispensable for upgrading and reinforcing educational sector, Sharma added.
On the occasion, Chief of the District Coordination Committee, Surkhet, Ganga Ram Sunar, shared that Kopila Valley School had become a boon for educational development of Karnali and for the children of underprivileged communities.
The school was established in 2067 BS.
