Elderly Woman Murdered in Rs 20 Dispute

In a shocking incident, a 72-year-old woman was brutally murdered over a dispute involving just Rs 20 in Malarani Rural Municipality, Gokhunga Patle village in Arghakhanchi district. An investigation into the incident has revealed that the victim, Harikala Bhusal, was killed by 20-year-old Gopal Nepali.

According to the Head of the District Police Office and Sub-Inspector, Pratith Singh Rathore, the altercation that led to this heinous crime occurred on October 31, when Gopal Nepali visited Harikala Bhusal’s residence to settle a disagreement over a meager sum of Rs 20.

During the confrontation, which unfolded while the elderly woman was home alone, Nepali confessed to taking a drastic and tragic step. In the heat of the moment, he used a khukuri to attack Bhusal. Following the horrendous act, he fled the scene, taking cash and gold jewelry from the victim’s house.
