Female doctors honoured by the President

President Ram Chanda Paudel has felicitated various five women doctors for their incomparable contribution to the health sector of Nepal with the ‘Women in Medicine Award.’

In the presence of the Minister for Health and Population Mohan Bahadur Basnet, the President felicitated women doctors on Friday in a program organised by the Nepal Medical Association in the President’s Official residence.

Dr Archana Amatya, Dr Gita Shakya, Dr Mita Singh, Dr Kokila Baidhya and Dr Pramila Pradhan were awarded with ‘Women in Medicine Award.’

Similarly, Dr Divyashwari Shrestha, Dr Lata Bajracharya, Dr Shobha Aryal, Dr Kasturi Malla and Dr Geeta Karki were awarded the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award.’
