Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba to Attend Women Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Canada
Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba will depart for Canada tomorrow evening to participate in the Meeting of Women Foreign Ministers, scheduled from September 19 to 20, 2024, in Toronto. The meeting is being co-hosted by the Governments of Canada and Jamaica. According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Rana Deuba will address the gathering in Toronto.
Following the meeting, on September 21, 2024, Dr. Rana Deuba will join a Nepali delegation, led by the Prime Minister, at the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
Additionally, the Foreign Minister will lead a Nepali delegation at the Third Summit of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue, which will be held in Doha, Qatar, from October 2 to 3, 2024. She is expected to return to Kathmandu on October 4, 2024.
