Ghorahi-Tulsipur Four-Lane Road Project Set to Resume
Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Rekha Sharma, confirmed that the construction work on the Ghorahi-Tulsipur four-lane road project in Dang is set to resume. This news was shared during a greeting exchange program organized by CPN (Maoist Center) in Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-16.
Minister Sharma stated that the bidding process for the project will begin after the festival of Tihar. She further mentioned that a survey has been conducted to upgrade the Ghorahi-Tulsipur road to four lanes, and discussions have taken place with the Minister of Physical Infrastructure. Currently, maintenance work is underway on this road section.
The construction of the four-lane road had previously been halted for five years, resulting in traffic issues and frequent accidents on the deteriorated road. This news brings hope for improved transportation and safety in the region.
