Gold Price Rises by Rs 1,400 Per Tola in Domestic Market

The price of gold in Nepal’s domestic market surged by Rs 1,400 per tola (11.66 grams) today, with the new rate set at Rs 151,000 per tola, up from Rs 149,600 on Tuesday.

The increase is attributed to rising gold prices in the international market and growing domestic demand, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

Meanwhile, the price of silver remained steady at Rs 1,765 per tola, unchanged from yesterday’s rate.

The hike in gold prices comes amid fluctuating trends in global markets, reflecting its continued appeal as a safe-haven investment.
