Gold Price Soars to Rs 140,900 per Tola

The price of gold has surged significantly in the domestic market, according to the latest data from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations. The price of hallmark gold has seen an increase of Rs 1,600 per tola (11.66 grams), reaching a new high of Rs 140,900. On Friday, hallmark gold was traded at Rs 139,300.

Similarly, the price of worked gold has also risen, now standing at Rs 140,200. This is a substantial jump from its trading price of Rs 138,650 on Friday.

This increase in gold prices reflects the ongoing fluctuations in the global precious metals market and is expected to impact local gold trade and consumer behavior. Traders and investors are keeping a close watch on the market trends as they navigate these changes.
