Government Inspired by Lord Ram’s Teachings, Committed to Honesty and Welfare: Modi

In a compelling address to the public, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his government’s commitment to governance guided by the principles of Lord Ram, emphasizing honesty and dedication. Speaking at the inauguration of 8 Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) projects worth ₹2,000 crore in Maharashtra, the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of fulfilling commitments and invoked Lord Ram’s teachings on honor.

Addressing a gathering in Solapur, PM Modi dedicated more than 90,000 houses completed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban (PMAY-Urban) in Maharashtra. The Prime Minister inaugurated 15,000 houses in the Raynagar Housing Society, benefiting handloom workers, vendors, power loom workers, rag pickers, beedi workers, and drivers.

Expressing his heartfelt wish to have lived in such homes during his youth, PM Modi urged the recipients to light Ram Jyoti on January 22, aligning with the consecration of the Ayodhya Ram temple. He emphasized that this act would serve as inspiration to eradicate poverty from their lives.

“Modi’s guarantee means ‘guarantee puri hone ki guarantee.’ Lord Ram taught us to honor commitments made, and we are fulfilling all goals we set for the welfare of the poor and their empowerment,” said the Prime Minister.

During the event, PM Modi kickstarted the distribution of the 1st and 2nd instalments to 10,000 beneficiaries of the PM Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM-SVANIDHI) scheme in Maharashtra. He emotionally conveyed that the happiness derived from fulfilling people’s dreams and the blessings received are his most significant investments.

Reflecting on his government’s achievements, PM Modi stated, “Welfare of the poor and dignity of labor have been our focus. Making India ‘Atmanirbhar’ (self-reliant) is crucial for turning it into ‘Viksit Bharat’ (developed India), appealing to the people to dream big.”

Highlighting the eradication of middlemen in welfare schemes, PM Modi asserted, “Your dream is my pledge, and this is Modi’s guarantee.” He emphasized the clear intent, policy, and commitment of his government, differentiating it from the past and reinforcing the focus on empowering people and the nation.

In his concluding remarks, PM Modi affirmed that under “Modi guarantee, you will eat a full roti,” echoing a commitment to transforming slogans into tangible results for the people.
