Govt. committed to establishing professional rights: PM Prachanda

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said the government was committed to establishing the professional rights of entrepreneurs.

During a meeting today with a delegation led by the President of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, Manik Ratna Shakya, he urged the entrepreneurs to carry out business in a professional manner.

On the occasion, he clarified that the government was committed to resolving problems faced in the course of operating a business in the country.

Prime Minister Prachanda said that the government would lend all kinds of support for the welfare of the entrepreneurs, adding the government would carry out activities in collaboration with the private sector.

Association President Shakya shared that they have been facing problems in running a business for a lack of supply of raw gold as per the demand.  He drew the government’s attention to making arrangements for the supply of gold as per the demand of the market by formulating the policy and regulations required to run the business accordingly.

Former President of the Association Mohan Kumar Sunar, senior member Mani Ratna Shakya, vice-presidents—Mohankaji Shakya, Bipin Ramudamu, and Mahendra Shakya were present on the occasion.
