Home Ministry prepares for revised reform plan for home administration
The Ministry of Home Affairs is preparing an action plan targeting the reforms in the home administration.
The Home Ministry Reform Action Plan is in the offing by revising Action Plan launched in 2078 BS. More, it will include the government Common Minimum Programme.
Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha said the government is preparing to bring a revised action plan with the realization that good governance and service to the people are major goals.
Security strengthening, promotion of national unity, institutionalizing of political achievements, protection of the Constitution, delivery of transitional justice and social transformation will be key priorities of the Action Plan.
The government seeks submissions in course of formulating the action plan and it is currently going on, Home Secretary Binod Prakash Singh told the RSS.
On Monday, the Home Ministry sought suggestions from journalists to that connection.
As per Nepal Government (Allocations of Business) Rule 2074 BS , implementation and regulation of internal security and law and order policies, laws, standards, plans are one the major businesses of the Home Ministry.
