Hour-Long Prachanda-Rabi Meeting at Singha Darbar

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane held an hour-long meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office, Singha Darbar.

This meeting follows the CPN-UML’s recent decision to form a government with the Nepali Congress. Despite this agreement, Prime Minister Prachanda is preparing to take a vote of confidence without resigning.

During their discussion, the officials decided to engage with other parties about the current power dynamics. Meanwhile, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has announced that it will not leave the government unless the Prime Minister resigns.
