Husband Dies After Alleged Assault by Wife

In a tragic incident that has sent shockwaves through the community, a 59-year-old man identified as Dhanbir Damai lost his life after allegedly being assaulted by his wife, Kamala Pariyar, aged 40, in Kanpur of Namobuddha Municipality-5.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar Shrestha, the incident occurred at approximately 9:30 am on Saturday. Preliminary investigations suggest that Pariyar was in an inebriated state at the time of the incident.

“Dhanbir Damai was beaten to death by his wife Kamala Pariyar,” stated DSP Raj Kumar Shrestha, who is also the spokesperson at the district police office.

The circumstances surrounding the assault and the motive behind it remain under investigation by authorities. The tragic incident has sparked concern and sadness among the residents of Namobuddha Municipality.
