India Promises Quick Execution of Bilateral Deals, Minister Jaishankar Tells PM Dahal
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” and India’s newly-appointed Federal Minister, S. Jaishankar, focused on fortifying bilateral relations, enhancing mutual cooperation, and expediting the implementation of existing agreements.
The discussions took place at Hotel Taj on Monday, where Prime Minister Dahal was staying during his visit to India. This meeting provided an opportunity for both leaders to exchange views on advancing ties between their countries.
Prime Minister Dahal congratulated Minister Jaishankar on his recent appointment, expressing optimism about strengthening mutual relations and deepening people-to-people connections in the near future.
Minister Jaishankar, in turn, thanked Prime Minister Dahal and the Nepalese government for their participation in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony. He reiterated India’s dedication to accelerating the implementation of bilateral agreements, assuring Prachanda of significant progress in this area.
This meeting marks a step forward in the ongoing dialogue between India and Nepal, aiming at reinforcing their longstanding partnership.
