Indian Foreign Secretary Kwatra meets PM Prachanda
Foreign Secretary of India, Vinay Mohan Kwatra, who is on a two-day official visit to Nepal, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ today.
A meeting was held between them at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar.
During the meeting, matters of Nepal-India cooperation in the areas of energy, trade, connectivity, agriculture, education, culture were discussed.
The Indian Foreign Secretary earlier participated in the Secretary-level meeting soon immediately after his arrival on Monday.
He also already paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Dr Bimala Rai Paudyal at the Ministry in Singha Durbar.
This is Kwatra’s first visit to Nepal after assuming the responsibility of Foreign Secretary of India.
It is believed that the Indian Foreign Secretary’s this visit will provide an opportunity to further deepening the bilateral ties between the two South Asian close neighbours.
