Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri paid a courtesy visit to Nepal’s Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel at his office in Singha Durbar today. The meeting focused on enhancing economic and development cooperation between the two nations, with particular emphasis on accelerating the construction of ongoing projects.

Foreign Secretary Misri’s visit to Nepal is part of a two-day official trip, following an invitation extended by Nepal’s Foreign Secretary, Sewa Lamsal. On Sunday, the first day of his visit, Misri engaged in a series of high-level meetings, including separate courtesy calls on President Ramchandra Paudel, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda.’
