Indian Passenger Bus Plunges into Marsyangdi River in Tanahun

An Indian passenger bus carrying 40 people has plunged into the Marsyangdi River in Tanahun district, Nepal Police confirmed on Friday.
The bus, bearing the number plate UP FT 7623, was en route to Kathmandu from Pokhara when the incident occurred. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Deepkumar Raya from the District Police Office in Tanahun, the bus is now lying on the bank of the river.
Authorities are currently assessing the situation, with rescue operations underway. Further details regarding the condition of the passengers are yet to be released.
