India’s 15-Point Roadmap to a Developed Nation by 2047

During his address on the 78th Independence Day celebrations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled a comprehensive 15-point roadmap aimed at transforming India into a developed nation by 2047. Reflecting on a decade of significant reforms, PM Modi highlighted how these changes have revitalized the nation’s youth, instilling in them the confidence to embrace ambitious goals.

“After independence, the country was mired in a status quo that needed to be shattered,” PM Modi stated. “Our commitment to reform is not for mere accolades; it is for fortifying the nation.” He emphasized that the current era represents a golden opportunity for India, and urged the nation to seize it.

Drawing inspiration from the collective resolve of the 40 crore Indians who fought for independence, PM Modi encouraged the present 140 crore Indians to strive towards a developed India. “If 40 crore Indians could secure freedom against all odds, then 140 crore Indians today can achieve a Viksit Bharat by 2047,” he asserted. “Our determination will drive this mission forward.”

The Prime Minister outlined the following key objectives as part of the roadmap:

  2. Become the World’s Skill Capital
  3. Position India as a Global Education Hub
  4. Lead in Semiconductor Production
  5. Create an Indian Gaming Products Hub
  6. Lead in Green Hydrogen & Green Jobs
  7. Become a Global Manufacturing Powerhouse
  8. Design in India, Design for the World
  9. Encourage States to Attract Investments
  10. Achieve 500 GW Renewable Energy by 2030
  11. Indian Standards to Become International Standards
  12. Add 75,000 New Medical Seats in 5 Years
  13. Implement a Secular Civil Code
  14. Ensure Saturation of Benefits
  15. Involve 100,000 Youth in Politics to Combat Nepotism

PM Modi’s address was a clarion call for national unity and commitment to achieving these ambitious goals, reinforcing his vision of a vibrant and developed India by the centenary of independence.
