India’s GDP Growth Projected Between 6.3% and 6.8% for 2025-26: Economic Survey

India’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is expected to grow between 6.3% and 6.8% during the financial year 2025-26 (April 2025-March 2026), according to the country’s economic survey released by the Finance Ministry on Friday.

The survey, presented in Parliament by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, highlighted that as per the first advance estimates, India’s real GDP and Gross Value Added (GVA) growth for the current financial year 2024-25 (April 2024-March 2025) stands at 6.4%.

As a crucial pre-budget document, the economic survey provides an overview of the nation’s economic performance over the past year. The projections come ahead of the Union Budget, which Sitharaman is set to present on Saturday, outlining the government’s fiscal roadmap for the coming year.
