International Tourism Fair Set to Kick Off in Kathmandu
The vibrant city of Kathmandu is gearing up to host the much-anticipated International Tourism Fair starting this Friday, June 15, at Bhrikutimandap. With the participation of tourism entrepreneurs from 16 countries, the fair promises to be a hub of cultural exchange and promotion for Nepal’s tourism sector on the global stage.
Organized by Summit Event and Market, the fair will feature over 150 entrepreneurs from countries including Nepal, India, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Maldives, USA, Netherlands, Sri Lanka, China, Thailand, Dubai, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Bhutan. Each country will showcase its unique tourism offerings, aiming to foster international partnerships and boost visitor arrivals.
Bishnu Pandey, Director of Summit Event and Market, expressed optimism about the fair’s impact on sustainable tourism development in Nepal. “We believe this event will not only promote tourism but also facilitate meaningful cultural exchanges,” Pandey remarked.
In addition to the international participants, the fair will prominently feature stalls from all seven provinces of Nepal, showcasing the country’s diverse cultural and natural attractions. The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) have extended their support to ensure the fair’s success at Bhrikutimandap.
