Jhamak Ghimire Honored with ‘Koshi Excellence Award 2081’

Renowned literary writer Jhamak Ghimire has been honored with the ‘Koshi Excellence Award 2081’ for her remarkable contributions to literature.

The award was presented by Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki at a special ceremony on Sunday. Due to unavoidable circumstances, Ghimire was unable to attend the event in person, and the award was received on her behalf by Litterateur Lekhnath Ghimire.

According to Pawan Adhikari, Chairperson of ‘Pradesh Khabar’, the award was officially handed over to Gopal Guragain, Chair of the Jhamak Ghimire Foundation.

The ‘Koshi Excellence Award’ was organized to mark the second anniversary of pradeshkhabar.com, recognizing outstanding individuals across 13 different categories.
