Juvenile Arrested for Raping Minor on Valentine’s Day

An incident of a juvenile raping a minor by luring him into a room to celebrate ‘Valentine’s Day’ in Siraha’s Lahan has shaken the community.

18-year-old Nikesh Yadav has been accused of raping a 15-year-old minor.

Local authorities swiftly responded to the distressing situation, with the Lahan police apprehending the rape suspect, identified as Arun, following the incident.

Reports suggest that Arun raped the girl around 2 o’clock on Wednesday afternoon, after which the victim’s family reported the incident at midnight.

Prompt action by law enforcement led to the arrest of the accused shortly thereafter.

The victim, who was found bleeding profusely and unconscious, was rushed to the provincial hospital by her relatives for treatment.

However, due to the severity of her condition, she was transferred to Nobel Hospital in Biratnagar.

According to preliminary investigations, it is understood that Arun coerced the girl into the room under the pretext of celebrating Valentine’s Day before perpetrating the assault.
