Kathmandu, Nov 11: Lumbini Province is currently experiencing light rain in one or two areas, accompanied by a cloudy sky in Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini, and Gandaki provinces, as reported by the Meteorological Forecasting Division. The impact of westerly winds in the western part of Nepal has contributed to this weather phenomenon.
This afternoon, hilly regions across the country, including the aforementioned provinces, can expect a partially to generally cloudy sky. In other areas, the weather is predicted to remain clear, according to the Division.
Light rain with thunder and lightning is anticipated in a few hilly areas of Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces, with one or two places in other regions also likely to experience these conditions. Furthermore, there is a possibility of light snowfall in certain high hilly and mountainous areas of the country.
The weather will be partially to generally cloudy in the hilly parts of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, with clear conditions expected in other regions. Light snowfall may occur in one or two places in high hilly and mountainous areas.
Looking ahead to Sunday, light rain with thunder and lightning is predicted in one or two hilly areas of Koshi Province, while light snowfall may occur in high hilly and mountainous regions.
On Monday, a partially cloudy sky is expected in the hilly areas of the country, while the rest of the regions will experience generally clear weather. Light snowfall is likely in one or two places in high hilly and mountainous areas.
