Light Rainfall in Sudurpaschim, Cloudy Weather in Hilly Regions

Nepal is currently experiencing partial influence of westerly and local winds, affecting weather conditions across different regions. The hilly areas of Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces are witnessing partly to generally cloudy skies, while the rest of the country remains mostly fair.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, light rainfall is occurring in one or two places of Sudurpaschim Province. There is also a possibility of scattered light rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in some hilly areas across the country. In higher altitudes, light snowfall has been forecasted in a few locations of the high-hilly and mountainous regions.

Later today, hilly areas of Sudurpaschim, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces are expected to remain partly to generally cloudy, while other parts of the country will continue to experience fair weather. Light rainfall with thunder and lightning is anticipated in some hilly areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, along with chances of isolated showers in hilly regions of other provinces. Additionally, snowfall is likely in the high hills and mountainous areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim, as well as in select mountainous regions of other provinces.
