Mahakali Hospital beginning dialysis service
The Mahakali Provincial Hospital in Kanchanpur is starting the kidney dialysis service soon after the successful test. Officials said that the hospital is beginning the test of the kidney dialysis service from today.
As part of the preparations, a team of Health Service Department on Thursday made an inspection to the hospital. A team of experts Dr Khageshwor Gelal, Dr Jagdish Joshi, Dr Jujuram Shrestha and Karuna Timilsina took stock of the services being provided from the hospital and preparations on the kidney dialysis service.
On the occasion, Chairman of Hospital Management Committee Krishnananda Bhatta said that needed infrastructures and human resources have been kept standby for the dialysis service.
Bhatta said that the dialysis service could not start in the past for lack of budget and delayed approval from the Health Service Department.
“We are preparing to run two shifts,” Bhatta said.
It is said that the hospital will provide kidney dialysis service to the patients from next week after the successful test.
