Man Arrested for Carrying Weapon Inside Supreme Court Premises

A man was apprehended by authorities after he was found carrying a weapon within the premises of the Supreme Court. Identified as Deepak Khadka from Buddhashanti Rural Municipality-3 of Jhapa, he was taken into custody by DIG Bhim Dhakal on Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred amidst ongoing proceedings related to a case involving Durga Prasai within the Supreme Court on Monday. Khadka, reportedly serving as a bodyguard to Prasai, was discovered in possession of a gun. The police swiftly intervened, confiscating the weapon from him. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
