Manang air chopper crash: Dead bodies brought to Kathmandu

The bodies of all those killed in the Manang air chopper crash in Solukhumbu district on Tuesday have been airlifted to Kathmandu.

The dead bodies of all six were brought through a chopper of Altitude Air and have been sent to the Maharajgunj-based TU Teaching Hospital for autopsy.

Six people including Captain Chet Bahadur Gurung and five Mexican nationals died on the spot after a helicopter of Manang Air crashed at Lamjura of Likhupike Rural Municipality in Solukhumbu district.

The chopper had gone out of contact on Tuesday morning and was later found crashed at Chihandanda of Lamjura which lies between Jiri and Phaplu.
