Maoist Leader Kali Bahadur Kham Arrested in Connection with 2008 Murder Case

Kali Bahadur Kham, a leader of the CPN (Maoist Center), has been apprehended by the District Police Range, Kathmandu, on Tuesday. Superintendent of Police Nawaraj Adhikari confirmed the arrest of Kham to Setopati.

Kham, who is known to be a member of the Maoists’ National Security Department, has been accused of involvement in the murder of businessman Ram Hari Shrestha on April 27, 2008, following his abduction. He had been evading arrest in connection to this case for a considerable period.
