Monsoon Winds Bring Cloudy Skies and Rain Across Nepal
The weather across Nepal is generally cloudy with light to moderate rain occurring in various parts of the country, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology. This is due to the active monsoon winds currently affecting the region.
This afternoon, the weather is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy with the possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, and at one or two places in the remaining provinces. Heavy rain is likely at one or two locations in Koshi, Bagmati, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Tonight, the weather will continue to be partly to mostly cloudy nationwide, with light to moderate rain and thunder and lightning anticipated in some places within Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. There is also a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places in Koshi, Madhes, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The weather bulletin released by the Department this morning states that the weather in the next 24 hours will remain partly to mostly cloudy across the country, with ongoing precipitation expected in various regions.
Residents are advised to stay informed about local weather conditions and to take necessary precautions, especially in areas prone to heavy rain and potential flooding.
