
Monsoon Winds Influence Weather Across Nepal; Rain Expected in Several Provinces


The Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology reported that monsoon winds are currently influencing weather patterns across Nepal, with the low-pressure monsoon line situated near its normal position.
As of this morning, the weather is partly to generally cloudy throughout the country. The Department noted that light to moderate rainfall is occurring in parts of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as in isolated areas of other provinces.
The Department’s morning weather bulletin also forecasted that this afternoon, several locations in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, along with some areas in other provinces, are likely to experience light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning.
The weather pattern is expected to remain similar into the evening, with cloudy conditions and scattered showers anticipated in various parts of the country.
