Narayani River Victim Identified as Indian Aadhar Card Holder
The body recovered from the Narayani River near Golaghat in Meghauli, west of Chitwan, has been identified. Identification became possible after an Indian Aadhar card in the name of Rishi Pal Sah was found on the deceased.
According to the District Administration Office in Chitwan, it has been confirmed that the recovered body belonged to one of the passengers onboard the bus that went missing on Friday morning. The body was found approximately 50 kilometers downstream from the accident site.
Earlier, the body was discovered on the riverbank of Golaghat, Narayani River, about 50 kilometers west of Simaltal where the buses went missing within Bharatpur Metropolitan Municipality-29.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Bheshraj Rijal from the Chitwan District Police Office stated that the identification process is ongoing.
