National Assembly Meeting Delayed by Two Hours

The National Assembly (NA) meeting slated for 1:15 PM today has been pushed back by two hours, according to an announcement from the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
Assistant spokesperson Dasharath Dhamala stated that the session has been rescheduled for 3:15 PM today.
The delay comes as ruling parties and the major opposition, Nepali Congress (NC), are engaged in discussions to finalize a mandate for establishing a parliamentary committee to investigate alleged misappropriation of cooperative funds.
Earlier, the lower house session was also postponed to 2:00 PM today.
