National Defence College Delegation Arrives in Nepal to Strengthen Defence Cooperation

A delegation from the National Defense College in New Delhi, led by Air Vice Marshal Manish Kumar Gupta, arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) today for a five-day visit to Nepal. The delegation includes officers from India as well as friendly foreign countries such as Germany, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, UK, and Oman. Their visit is aimed at further enhancing mutual defense cooperation and collaboration.

The delegation’s arrival was met with a warm welcome from Col Amit Kumar Sharma, Defense Attaché of India to Nepal, and Brig Gen Narayan Silwal of the Nepali Army. The reception highlights the importance and respect that both countries place on their collaborative defense efforts.

During their stay, the delegation is expected to engage in a series of discussions, exchanges of insights, and knowledge-sharing sessions with their counterparts in Nepal. This visit provides an opportunity for officers from different nations to learn from each other’s experiences, share best practices, and strengthen their collective understanding of various aspects of defense and security.
