NC Karnali Recommends Four Names for Induction into CM Kandel’s Government

The Nepali Congress (NC) Karnali has recommended the names of four individuals to be inducted into the government led by Chief Minister Yamlal Kandel.

A meeting of the party today selected Rajib Bikram Shah as Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning, Ghanashyam Bhandari for Social Development, Bijaya Budha for Energy and Water Resources, and Suresh Adhikari for Industry, Tourism, Forest, and Environment, according to NC Chief Whip for the province, Hikmat Bahadur Bist.

Budha represents Humla, Shah is from Jajarkot, Adhikari is from Salyan, and Bhandari represents Dailekh in the Karnali Province Assembly.

The posts became vacant after four ministers from the CPN (Maoist Centre) decided to quit the government on July 22 following a change in the power equation at the center.
