NC leader, Forest Minister of Province No. 1, Thapa passes away

The Minister of Forests, Environment, and Land Conservation of Province No. 1 passed away on Wednesday.
Shekhar Chandra Thapa,56, was a leader of the Nepali Congress. He was also a candidate from the Nepali Congress for the elections to be held on November 20 from the Provincial Assembly Constituency (A) of Morang Constituency-3.
Leader Thapa passed away at Nobel Medical College in Biratnagar at around 10:30 this morning in the course of treatment.
He was initially infected with dengue. Later he also suffered from pneumonia.
