NC Parliamentary Party meeting today
The Nepali Congress parliamentary party is meeting at 3:00 pm at the Federal Parliament Building in Naya Baneshwar today.
Chief Whip of the NC Parliamentary Party, Ramesh Lekhak, shared that the meeting was going to be held to share about the power sharing agreement reached with the CPN (UML) and take a decision on it.
It may be noted that the meeting of the NC Central Executive Committee held on July 3 had endorsed the formation of a government of national consensus under the leadership of UML Chair KP Sharma Oli.
The NC parliamentary party will also endorse the same decision, said the chief whip Lekhak.
After the formation of a new political alliance and withdrawing of support by various ruling partners, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has informed the Federal Parliament to seek a vote of confidence on coming July 12.
