The National Examinations Board (NEB), Sanothimi, has officially announced the results of the Class 12 final examinations. The board meeting held today published the results on its website.
NEB Chairperson Dr. Mahashram Sharma reported that 52.91 percent of students passed the examinations, marking a three percent increase compared to last year. A total of 390,868 students, including 193,933 boys and 196,914 girls, sat for the examinations that commenced on April 14. Out of these, 203,847 students successfully passed the exams.
Dr. Sharma highlighted that 9,591 students achieved a GPA between 3.61 and 4. Additionally, 47.09 percent of the students, amounting to 187,021, were non-graded, and the examination results of 102 students were cancelled.
Students can view their results by logging into the NEB’s websites (www.neb.gov.np, result.neb.gov.np) and Nepal Telecom’s website (www.neb.ntc.net.np). The results can also be accessed by sending an SMS to 1600 with the text “neb [space] symbol number” or to 1601 of Nepal Telecom, as stated by the Board.
