Nepal A has set a target of 213 runs for visiting Ireland A in the ongoing third unofficial T20 cricket match in Kirtipur.
Despite being put to bat first after losing the toss, Nepal showcased their batting might, accumulating 213 runs while losing seven wickets within the allotted 20 overs.
Aarif Sheikh emerged as the star performer for Nepal, smashing an unbeaten 93 runs, which included seven boundaries and six towering sixes off just 48 deliveries. Following closely, Rashid Khan contributed 24 runs, while Kamal Airee and Basir Ahamad added 19 and 13 runs, respectively. Pawan Sarraf also chipped in with a valuable 19 runs.
On the bowling front, Ireland A fought back valiantly, with Fionn Hand claiming two wickets, and Liam McCarthy, Matthew Foster, Gareth Delany, and Gavin Hoey securing one wicket each.
