Nepal records 55 new COVID-19 cases in a day; active cases now at 252

On Tuesday, the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) released its regular update on COVID-19, confirming 55 new cases of the disease through RT-PCR and antigen tests combined.
Of the 180 RT-PCR tests conducted in the past 24 hours, 22 were found to be positive for SARS-CoV-2, while 33 positive cases were detected in 1,538 Antigen tests. The update also stated that 53 individuals had recovered from COVID-19.
Currently, there are 252 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation. The death toll due to COVID-19 in Nepal has reached 12,030, according to the MoHP.
