Nepal sets a target of 225 runs for Canada

In the opening clash of the one-day cricket series, Nepal has posted a  target of 225 runs for Canada to secure victory. Nepal concluded their innings at 224/10 after 50 overs of play.

Opener Kushal Bhurtel showcased an impressive performance, anchoring Nepal’s innings with a solid 62 runs. Bhurtel faced 58 deliveries, striking 9 boundaries and a six.

Arif Sheikh also made a valuable contribution to the total, adding 38 runs, while Sompal Kami chipped in with 27 runs before being dismissed.

Canada now requires 225 runs from 300 balls to clinch the win, while Nepal aims to defend their total or secure all ten wickets to emerge victorious in the match.

The stage is set for an exciting chase as Canada prepares to take on Nepal’s bowling attack.
