The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a slight dip in its performance on Tuesday, marking the third trading day of the week. The NEPSE index decreased by 1.85 points, settling at 2010.21 points for the day.
Trading activity remained active, with a total of 6,131,021 shares from 312 companies changing hands, resulting in a turnover of Rs 2,291,645,585.
During today’s trading session, several sectors saw modest gains, including financial groups, investment groups, life insurance, microfinance, mutual funds, and trading groups. However, other sectors witnessed declines in their sub-indices.
Gurans Microfinance Limited’s shares reached the positive circuit, while Ganapati Microfinance Limited and Upakar Microfinance Limited experienced notable increases of 9.64 percent and 8.64 percent respectively in their share prices.
Conversely, Jyoti Development Bank Bond-2087 recorded the largest decline in share price, dropping by 7.50 percent.
In terms of trading volume, Gurkhas Finance Limited emerged as the frontrunner with a turnover of Rs 149,884,901 on Tuesday.
