
Nepal’s Ambassador to India Holds Meeting with Indian Foreign Minister

Nepal’s Ambassador to India, Dr. Shankar Sharma, held a significant meeting with the Indian Foreign Minister, S. Jaishankar, on Thursday at the Foreign Minister’s office in New Delhi. The meeting was focused on bilateral discussions pertaining to the upcoming visit of Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” to India.
Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to undertake a four-day visit to India, commencing on May 31. This visit is expected to pave the way for further enhancing the longstanding relations between Nepal and India.
During the meeting, Ambassador Sharma and Foreign Minister Jaishankar engaged in productive deliberations on various matters of mutual interest. The discussions primarily revolved around strengthening the bilateral ties between the two neighboring countries. Both officials expressed their shared desire and unwavering commitment to deepening and strengthening the Nepal-India relations in the future.
